Every customer is unique in their needs and desires so why would we treat everyone the same? Pest control is not a one size fits all industry so we don’t offer pre-packaged solutions, only custom tailored solutions based on our customer’s needs and expectations.

    Inspect

    One of our knowledgeable technicians will arrive at your property and conduct a thorough inspection looking for existing issues and for potential future issues. After the inspection is completed the technician will put together a comprehensive solution and plan of action that meets your properties exact needs as well as your family’s expectation.

    Initial service

    The technician will administer the initial service of your customized treatment plan to ensure we get all of the present infestations controlled. This visit will take more time than normal maintenance visits so the technician can gain control of the known pests that were found in the inspection.

    Maintenance

    Lastly, our technician will make monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly visits to administer maintenance treatments to ensure your home remains pest and rodent free.

Bed Bugs

Bed Bugs are back and they are back in a big way. Over the years bed bugs have made resurgence among our communities nationwide. It’s important that our customers know just how serious an issue bed bugs can be for your property. While they aren’t known to transmit disease, they can leave itchy welts all over your body.

But the good news is we have a solution for you. If treatments are completed quickly most infestations can be eliminated in 3 visits or less.

Rodents

Rats and mice are both capable of transmitting disease through their hair, droppings and urine. Food contamination is a very serious concern when dealing with rats and mice in a home. Billions of dollars of in damage are caused by rat and mouse food contamination annually. Combine those two things with the fact that rats and mice are prolific breeders you have a serious issue on your hands in a very short amount of time.

According to Mallis Handbook of Pest Control rats incisors grow .4mm per day and when tested to determine how hard their teeth are, they rate higher than iron! Rats and mice gnawing damage can cause serious harm to your home. Rats have been known to commonly chew through electrical wires, plumbing, drywall, cement, soft metals, and even asphalt. The damage can be devastating to a home where a rat has chewed through electrical wires or plumbing.

The key to rodent control is taking a multi-faceted approach. Using only rodenticides isn’t always the most effective approach and often times isn’t advisable for safety reasons. Reducing harborage, excluding points of entry, and increased attention to sanitation are all part of the solution that Farmer Termite & Pest Control can provide.
